Our service

We offer an advised sales service. This means we will assess your needs and circumstances and then make a tailored recommendation to you. We will explain the reasons for our recommendation and give it to you in writing.

Scope of our mortgage advice

We offer a comprehensive range of first-charge mortgages from across the market. We do not advise on second-charge mortgages; where a second-charge mortgage may be more appropriate for you, we will refer you to a suitably authorised specialist.

The FCA do not regulate some investment mortgage contracts such as Buy to Lets. Your home may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.

Insurance

We advise on and arrange non-investment insurance contracts, including Buildings & Contents, Mortgage Protection Cover, Level Term Assurance Life Cover, Critical Illness Cover and Income Protection.

Our fees

We may charge a fee of up to a maximum of £500 on more complex cases. Any fee that applies to your case will be disclosed to you in good time before you apply, and is payable upon application. We will always confirm the amount in writing before you are committed.

Identity verification

We are required by law to verify the identity of our clients. We will ask you to provide documentary evidence of your identity and address, and may carry out electronic identity checks. We cannot proceed with your application until this requirement has been satisfied.

If we cannot settle your complaint with you, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service at financial-ombudsman.org.uk.
